We have had such an amazing experience with Perfect Pup Training! From the very first session, we could tell that Don genuinely cares about the dogs he works with and takes the time to understand each dog’s personality, needs, and behavior. Our pup has already made such a noticeable improvement after just a few sessions. We’ve learned so much as owners, too, and Don has been patient, knowledgeable, encouraging, and always willing to answer our questions. He doesn’t  just teach your dog commands, he teaches YOU how to communicate with your dog and build a better relationship together. I honestly couldn’t recommend Perfect Pup Training enough. Don has been a lifesaver in helping us train our dogs! My two dogs and my boyfriend’s dog were chaotic when we first brought them all together, and we weren’t sure how we were going to make everything work. We compared several different training companies before deciding to work with Don, and we are so glad we did. He offers such a personalized experience and really takes the time to understand our dogs, our situation, and what works best for us. The individualized attention and guidance we receive are absolutely worth the price. Don is incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and understanding, and he has given us practical tools that are making such a huge difference. We are already seeing so much improvement in our dogs and are gaining confidence in how to work with them as a group. We still have a ways to go, but we feel so much more hopeful and equipped because of Don’s help. We can’t recommend Don at Perfect Pup Dog Training highly enough! He helped us work with both of our dogs—our new cockapoo puppy, Praline, and our 3-year-old Bernedoodle, Beignet—and the results have been fantastic. Praline was struggling with potty training, and Beignet had started slipping back into some old habits that we wanted to reinforce. Don took the time to understand each dog’s unique needs and tailored the training accordingly. He was incredibly flexible with scheduling and gave us multiple effective options to address everything from potty training and excessive barking to leash manners and basic obedience. What we appreciated most was Don’s practical, positive approach. He explained not just what to do, but why it worked, which made it much easier for us to be consistent at home. We saw noticeable improvements in both dogs after implementing his recommendations. We have been extremely pleased with the results from Don’s training program. We have 2 dogs(shepherd mix and red heeler) that were struggling coexisting with our 2 cats. That along with other behavior issues made us look into trainers. Don’s flexibility was what initially got our attention. We both work full time so our time is limited. We booked a consultation and were very pleased. He gave us some tips to help correct some of the smaller issues such as potty training and tips for socializing. Mind you this was before we even purchased a training package. We saw improvement just with those tips and decided to purchase one of his training packages. And we are so glad we did! We’re still going through his course but there has been considerable changes to our dogs behavior. His methods are very gentle as well and easy to incorporate in our day to day lives. We wish we had booked him sooner as it has made managing the dogs so much easier. The dogs seem so much calmer and at ease at home now too and that has also made the cats feel less stressed. Don at Perfect Pup is the real deal. We brought our German Shepherd, Elle, to him for help with everything from basic obedience to behavioral correction and off-leash training, and the transformation has been incredible. Elle used to pull on the leash, was reactive, and wouldn't listen to commands, especially around other people and animals. Now she's a completely different dog. She's focused, responsive, and reliable even in distracting environments. What sets Don apart is his patience and knowledge. He clearly understands dogs on a deeper level, and he didn't just train Elle, he made us better, more confident owners too. We walked away not only with a well-behaved dog but with the tools and understanding to maintain it. We contacted Don of Perfect Pup for help with our German Shepherd. She had developed some fence aggression with our neighbor’s dog. Having Don work with is and our dog has been amazing. His techniques are very effective and very humane which was very important to us. He uses a very practical approach that is easy to follow. He showed us how to use her e-collar so that it makes a tone. And she is so responsive to that that it usually only takes a “beep” to get her to look at us or recall to us. He also has very flexible hours and is very responsive and willing to do training sessions in different sites or venues, like Petsmart or the dog park.
