We have 2 dogs(shepherd mix and red heeler) that were struggling coexisting with our 2 cats. That along with other behavior issues made us look into trainers. Don’s flexibility was what initially got our attention. We both work full time so our time is limited. We booked a consultation and were very pleased. He gave us some tips to help correct some of the smaller issues such as potty training and tips for socializing. Mind you this was before we even purchased a training package. We saw improvement just with those tips and decided to purchase one of his training packages. And we are so glad we did! We’re still going through his course but there has been considerable changes to our dogs behavior. His methods are very gentle as well and easy to incorporate in our day to day lives. We wish we had booked him sooner as it has made managing the dogs so much easier. The dogs seem so much calmer and at ease at home now too and that has also made the cats feel less stressed. We brought our German Shepherd, Elle, to him for help with everything from basic obedience to behavioral correction and off-leash training, and the transformation has been incredible. Elle used to pull on the leash, was reactive, and wouldn't listen to commands, especially around other people and animals. Now she's a completely different dog. She had developed some fence aggression with our neighbor’s dog. Having Don work with is and our dog has been amazing. His techniques are very effective and very humane which was very important to us. He uses a very practical approach that is easy to follow. He showed us how to use her e-collar so that it makes a tone. And she is so responsive to that that it usually only takes a “beep” to get her to look at us or recall to us.
